Fermentation Process: Making Apple Cider Vinegar at Home

Ingredients: To make apple cider vinegar (ACV) at home, you'll need fresh apples, water, and sugar. Choose a variety of apples with a good balance of sweetness and acidity for the best results.

Preparation: Start by washing and chopping the apples into small pieces, including the cores and skins.

Adding Sugar: Dissolve sugar in water to create a sweetened solution, which provides food for the natural yeasts and bacteria responsible for fermentation.

Fermentation: Cover the container with a breathable lid or cheesecloth to allow air to flow while preventing contaminants from entering

Stirring and Aerating: Stir the mixture daily with a clean spoon or stirrer to aerate it and promote fermentation.

Fermentation Time: Fermentation typically takes around 3 to 4 weeks, although it may vary depending on factors such as temperature

Monitoring Progress: As the fermentation progresses, you may notice bubbles forming on the surface of the liquid and a tangy aroma developing.
